The Heritage Palmeras

The Heritage Palmeras is designed to look more like a luxury resort than an assisted living facility. At the same time, it offers many of the services you would expect to find at such a facility. It can be found in Sun City, AZ. At the facility, residents who are still capable of independence are encouraged to be as independent as they can be, though the services are always available to them.

There are many services available to residents at The Heritage Palmeras. It features a staff that is on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The staff is trained to help residents with daily needs, including grooming, cleaning, and dressing. Housekeeping services are provided, as are laundry and linen services. Residents are provided three meals per day, every day. There are frequent visits to the facility by an occupational therapist, speech therapist, physical therapist, dentist, and podiatrist. Nurses are on the staff to help residents with medical issues that the regular staff is unable to help with. Transportation is available for residents who want to go to offsite activities, and for residents who need to make offsite appointments. Respite services are available for residents who will be staying at the facility temporarily instead of permanently. Hospice services are available for residents with terminal illness to make them as comfortable as possible.

The Heritage Palmeras also provides a large number of amenities for the residents staying there. There is a fitness center at the facility for residents who are still capable of exercising. A library is housed at the facility where residents can go to read, or to check out books to take back to their apartment. Residents can gather at any of the indoor and outdoor common areas. For residents who want to relax, a hot tub is available. A swimming pool is available for residents who are still capable of using it. Cable television is available in each apartment at the facility. Dogs and cats are pets accepted at the facility, but residents must have them approved by the facility’s management before bringing them in.
